Ticket pile — open for contributions

Your worst day deserves a card.

The Friday 5pm deploy, the ticket reopened three times, the colleague who answers “works on my machine”. Write it down and we turn it into a card. We read everything, we answer everything, and what makes the bar goes into the deck.

See how cards work

Free, two minutes, and an email at every step — with the team's comment, rejections included.

  • $0to submit

What we're after

Six families, one rule: it actually happened.

Every good card in the deck comes from a true story. We're not after brilliant ideas, we're after your week.

The bar

What makes a card we keep.

Nothing fancy: a card is one line of effect and one punchline. The rest is on us.

  • It happened. To you, or to someone you watched suffer.
  • It reads in one sentence. If the effect needs a paragraph, it's a rule, not a card.
  • It targets a situation, never a real person or a named company.
  • The punchline lands for the other team too, not only yours.

What goes back to the backlog

  • A personal attack, a score to settle, or a real colleague's name.
  • A joke that only works if you know their internal codebase.
  • A mechanic that wins on its own. We playtest, it shows fast.
  • Hateful or discriminatory content. Instant no, account included.
How it works

You submit, we answer. Every time.

No black box: every submission gets a reference, a status, and a human at the end.

  1. 01

    You submit

The form at the bottom of this page. Two required fields: the name and what the card does. You get an AT-•••• reference.

  2. 02

    We read it

Actually read it. Someone on the team opens your card, holds it to the bar above and writes down what's off.

  3. 03

    We get back to you

Accepted, needs work or declined: every change sends you an email with the comment that explains it. You can answer in the thread.

  4. 04

    It goes into play

We illustrate it, we balance it, it ships with the next batch. Your handle is credited on the card page.

The statuses you'll see — each one arrives by email, commented

  • ReceivedIt's in the pile. Nobody has opened it yet.
  • In reviewSomeone picked it up. This is where it gets decided.
  • Needs workWe want to keep it, but something is missing. Answer in the thread.
  • AcceptedIt's going into the deck. Art and balancing in progress.
  • In playIt's in the catalog. You can draw it in a game.
  • Not retainedNot this time, and we told you why. Nothing stops you from sending another.
Teams and companies

Your company or your team, printed on the card.

Submitting is free, and stays free. But if you want the card to carry your team's or your company's name, that's a paid option — and we talk about it before, never after.

  • A signed cardThe team or company name shows on the card and on its public page. Your squad gets its official creature.
  • Your onboarding, in playThe house incidents, the team's desk combo, the founding bug. Enough to sit new joiners down on day one.
  • A quote, not a surprise subscriptionTick the box in the form: we come back with a price and a timeline. Until you sign, nothing happens.

No payment is taken on this page. Just tick “my company or team is interested” and we'll reach out.

Questions

What people ask every single time.

Does submitting a card cost anything?

No. Submitting is free, with no idea quota and no premium account. Only the “my company or team on the card” option is paid, and it always goes through a quote first.

Do you really answer everyone?

Yes. Every submission gets an AT-•••• reference and moves through statuses. Every step sends you an email with the comment the team wrote — a rejection is explained just like an acceptance. Nothing moves in silence.

How long until an answer?

Count 72 hours for a first read. An accepted card takes longer to ship: it has to be illustrated and balanced against the rest of the deck.

Do I keep any rights on my card?

By submitting, you let us adapt, illustrate and publish it in the game. Your handle is credited on the card. You remain free to reuse your idea elsewhere.

Can I submit a card about my manager?

About the situation, yes. About the person, no: no real names, no scores to settle. The HR Dragon already exists and needs no help.

How many cards can I submit?

Five per 24 hours. Past that the queue stops being readable and nobody wins — least of all your sixth idea.
