How it plays
  1. 01
    When

Drawn face up → the debug starts at once. From your hand: you can play it on your turn.

  2. 02
    Story points

1 SP. Your velocity must be strictly higher. A tie means the bug wins.

  3. 03
    Win

1 goodie and +1 level. A pair takes 1 goodie, you take the rest and the levels.

  4. 04
    Reassign

Roll 1–6, you need 5 or more (shifted by your gear / role / profile, minimum 2). Refused = the ticket comes back to you and you take the hit.

  5. 05
    Versus

-5 vs Cat — added to ITS story points.

SIDE EFFECTIt pushes a piece of gear off the table. Literally.

What it's really about

The situation

He sits on the keyboard. Not beside it: on it. He does not move. He looks at you. The debug begins, and it is not the one you had planned.

Why those numbers

One story point, the smallest number in the deck — except for the Cat race, which takes -5 and therefore has to beat a bug of negative strength. It is the only card in the game a race can lose to through excess affinity. Side effect: it pushes a piece of gear off the table. Literally.

How to play it

You close it without thinking. Unless you are a Cat, in which case the whole table is about to notice.

Bugs

What you pull from the Tickets pile. Your velocity has to land strictly above their story points — and your friends will inflate them.
